Message from the Principal

Welcome to our website, Wildcat families.

We are proud of our learning environment at Central Elementary School. We believe in our school's mission in which "we commit to high levels of learning and growth for ALL Wildcats." Through our partnership, we are working with our students to master their reading and math Essential Standards. Our little Wildcats are not only working toward mastering their Essential Standards, but also celebrating each achievement along the way. In each grade level, students track their personal progress through local and state assessments. Our collective commitments, dedication, and hard work has resulted in being named a "Promising PLC at Work School". We are the first school in District #202 and among the few in Illinois. We are proud of our work thus far and are committed to living our mission.

Beyond our academic accomplishments, we are also proud of the experiential opportunities provided to our students through the hard work of our staff and supportive parent community.
